Here's an album I did for the road trip we took this summer. I have had it done for a while but just hadn't posted it yet. I am glad I made myself do it as soon as I could. Sometimes I have a tendency to put things off and then I never get back to getting it done!

Just a couple of quick mini albums I made for my neice's from our trips to Great America!

So I have been so busy lately that I think I made myself sick! For some reason even though I am not "working" right now I am busier than when I was and I can't quite figure out why! Last Friday we had our first interclub match against Fremont Hills tennis group and I got to play with our best player so that was fun and we won 6-1, 6-2. Then I had to set up my table that I was hosting at my church's tea. The theme was "The work of her hands" so every table was decorated by a different lady and they all turned out so neat. We also had a boutique and I even made some things to sell! I was so excited when some people bought some of my frames, cards and a scarf! Now I am wondering what to do with the leftovers? Does anyone know of any other holiday boutiques coming up/ Or maybe I will try the online store http://www.etsy.com/ or Ebay.

While I was sitting at the tea listening to the speaker, I suddenly felt feverish and then it all hit me. I dragged myself later to my neice's Hannah'a bday dinner in Capitola because I didn't want to miss it and then I basically crashed all day Sunday. Don't have anymore time though to be sick so I have to will myself better! :-)

Wow - I really have not posted in two weeks?! School is getting better for the kids. No more bad days like the first one for Timmy so I hope it stays that way. So funny - (well not really) but the teacher sent paperwork to the school counselor because of the first day of school and she called me last week. We had talked to her before but she forgot so of course I go through the whole - "Is Kent Nichols there? Yes, this is Kent. No I need to speak to Kent". What the %&$#@! When will people stop acting like weirdos about my name? Anyway, I digress. So she quizzes me about my son - is he troubled at home, does he have friends? etc. Like he is some kid ready to explode. Then she kind of gets embarrassed at the end because she realizes we are a normal family and he is a normal kid with friends etc - he just thinks he can run a class better than the teacher. Which when he is an adult will be great if we can get him through school.

In other news - it is birthday month. We have about 12 birthdays we celebrate in September. One of them is for this guy who celebrated his birthday last week by going back to school?! But typical of him and I was not really surprised. He thinks I will help him with his homework and papers - ha!

So Happy Belated public birthday honey!

Then this weekend we went out to dinner with friends to celebrate both my husband and my friend's September birthdays at a restaurant in Burlingame called Trapeze. It was fun to get away and be grown ups in a grown up restaurant.

Then on Saturday there was a surprise birthday party for my dear father in law who always shows up early which he did to his own party and caught us all in the driveway before we could surprise him. It was a great night with LOTS of food and I got to hear some funny family stories from my husband's side. Now it all makes sense why he is so weird!

We took my niece Michaela home with us and took her to Great America yesterday for her birthday. We had a blast and Matt could join us (which he hasn't been able to all summer). I told him I like him when he is having fun and relaxed and not stressed out about things. I also realized Timmy is pretty much a daredevil and he almost talked me into going on the Vortex but I got out of it. I am a chicken and proud of it.

I ran Tyler over to one of his classmate's birthday party's later that day. I thought he looked SO cute when I picked him up! It was a cooking themed party so each of the kid's decorated an apron, wore a chef's hat and made pizzas and cupcakes. (And no my son is not flipping off the camera - I double checked).

This week I am gearing up for several things - my first interclub tennis match on Friday, a tea I am hosting a table for so I have to figure all that out, a bouttique that I am making stuff for to sell and oh yeah the business I am trying to start (that last one should be the priority - right?)!
