So I am catching up on all the blogs I should have posted weeks ago! Wanna see my most favorite Christmas present? Click the link above! My amazing friend Shannon Montez took our pictures just in time for the holidays. If you ever want to capture your family on film I would recommed no one else! She is great. Really - I just can't brag enough. I think it is because we knew each other way back when - when her talents had yet unfolded and well..I think I have pretty much stayed the same but she has done amazing things and I am so happy that she can take her talent and create a wonderful business! I LOVE the ones of the boys and I can't wait to get some framed for our home.

Here are some of my favs:

Got a little bit of scrapping in! Not even sure if this picture of my cousin's was taken at Christmas time but I just kind of went with it! I think the photo of Megan and Brett is at least a year old because they have a little sister Kate now! And the paper is ages old and I even got it at a scrapbook store garage sale!

I am packing in the Christmas! Can't believe we are more than halfway to the big day! So far this is what I have done to celebrate!

1.Got the tree and decorated it
2. Went to a Christmas Tea
3.Went to a holiday party
4.Enjoyed a holiday concert
5.Went to see the lights at Vasona

Last weekend I went to the Christmas tea at my SIL's church Twin Lakes in Santa Cruz. All the women in the family try to do something together during the holidays and it usually involves attending some kind of tea or Christmas celebration. So here we are all dressed up! My niece Hannah joined us this year (and my other SIL Vikkee is not in this picture).

Then on Sunday Matt sold at Alameda. One of my most favorite places to shop and people watch! I was SO excited to get this tinsel tree. It is the tackiest color of teal (photo does not do it justice) and looks great with some vintage ornaments that I have since decorated it with.

I also picked up this which I was very excited about. For now it will hold Christmas cards but later I will use it to hold handmade cards!

This little number I bought at my friend's craft boutique. It is handmade out a a felted wool sweater! Isn't it adorable!

Stay tuned - we also got our pictures taken for Christmas Cards.......

Prompt #9 is posted over at The CrEative TyPe! Go check out the awesome layouts from the DT.
Here is what Patty said:
"One" is the focus of prompt #8, and this will be the one last prompt before we take a mini vaca for the holidays. We will back and better then ever after the New Year! So be on the lookout. This prompt is all about taking one word that means something to you and making it the focal point of your layout. Make its bold, make it colorful, make it stand out and speak to the viewer. Maybe you have a picture that's special to you, and one word really stands out when you look at that image. Maybe there is just a word you love to hear, you like the way it sounds(I know I have a few) Its all about that one word. Once again, possibilities are endless. And remember, as always, its all about the type:) Thank you to Sweet Spuds for sponsoring this prompt! One lucky winner will be chosen to take home this fabulous kit.
