Had a fun day scrapping with Laarnie and Sylvia at Suzy's! I worked on the boys school albums which are not all that exciting creativity wise but I was glad I could catch up somewhat. I know this will be something later the boys will appreciate having!

Look what I found!



Ever wonder where companies and tv stations get their songs for commercials and episodes? I do all the time. Matt and I comment sometimes on what song would go with what scene or we get excited when some unknown band gets a song on a show and then they are everywhere. Happened for Lifehouse I belive when they were played on the Smallville several times. Anyway - look what I found ! It's a guy that lists the songs and artists for all those recent commericials out there that you wonder - who sings that song.



One of my favs right now is the new Apple Notebook commercial! I find myself humming the little tune so I wanted to know who sings it!

Wow - March has been a busy month. Not only did we move which was the most major thing but we also had a lot of fun thrown in. Here are some of the highlights of the month. I taught a scrapbook class for my neice Michaela's girl scout troop on March 4th. I also posted the sample but all the girls took off on their own and made each one unique! That is great! Then we celebrated my MIL's 70th birthday on March 16th at Lisa's Tea Treasures. The boys had a FULL weekend of their play (4 shows). They both had fun and enjoyed the part's they had in the Napoleon's Mustache play. Then we had Easter yesterday!! I just posted a few shots I took (I took almost 60 pictures that day because I love the light that at my SIL house). Enjoy all the pics!!

1. Uh - I have a boy's name and get asked about it almost everyday. Sometimes very annoying say when I am at the bank and they don't think it is me making the transaction even though I have banked there 5 freakin' years. Hello? Customer service?

2.I grew up on the East Coast/South so try to visit my family as much as I can. Love the South and will always stick up for it!

3. My family is in a serious phase of watching The Office. We love it and watch a couple of episodes every day.

4. I knit.

5. In highschool I wanted to be a Marine Biologist.

6.I got a college degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies.

7. I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and I am really trying to change it up!

Wow - moving is horrendous!! It SUCKS!! We have literally been moving since Wednesday and we have about a couple of more days left. We had lived at our old place for 8 years so that is a lot of stuff accumulated plus our garage was packed with Matt's antiques (that he buys and sells) and my grandmother's stuff he had driven back in December. It feels like we are moving 3 households and not one. But I had to take a break from unpacking and post an update!!

But we spent last night in or new place and getting used to living in an apartment again. Not sure how long we will still stay here. But I know the next move won't be as bad as the last!!

My advice again to you all would be - hook up with the fly lady (www.flylady.com) !! I guess that is my new theme for the year. She promotes getting rid of things all the time and I wish I had been doing that a long time before we moved. I think it is too easy to throw something in the garage and think - I'll make a run to Goodwill later and you never do! She does not let you procrastinate and that's a good thing!!

We are packing up this week and gettin' ready for the big move! I am trying to find the good things about it like a fresh start to rearrange and decorate differently. I am hoping I can spluge some after our moving sale this week on some items I have my eye on at Target - like those cute 50's inspired dish towels and kitchen decorations.

I came across this while packing. It cracked me up because originally my son Tyler got one self to store his "treasures". This little guy is a collector and one shelf has grown to one whole side. It made me laugh because I hadn't realized over time how much his collection of shark's teeth, shells, rocks, coins etc has grown. We will have to find a new spot for his treasures at our new place because we are putting this heavy bookcase in storage for now!
