6.Signed up for too much at Tyler's school.

What is your favorite font? Mine is good 'ole Arial. Always there when I need a good, readable font!

Just had to share this mini album my friend Stephanie did for her daughter. If you look closer you will see that it is kind of a commitment in writing of what her and her daughter will do for this coming school year. I just thought it was so thoughtful and not your typical mini album material. One of the hardest things for me is being consistent with my boys during the school year. I thought this was a beautiful reminder!

It's my new class at Picture Me Perfect!

Last year I made these haunted houses centerpieces out of boxes for an event I was doing. I brought them with me to Picture Me Perfect's Anniversary crop to work on them and they were a hit! So this year I am offering it as a class. I also added cute features like a door and hinged windows on the side that can hide pictures of your littlest ghost and goblins! What's also great about these haunted houses are that they are really altered wine boxes so...you can fill them with Halloween treats for the little ones or a beverage bottle of your choice for the "bigger" kids. My favorite part about making them was playing with corrugated cardboard. It is a great way to repurpose an item and the effect is great for the project.

Just added these to my Etsy store! They're pumpkin fingerless gloves!! I know - a little out there but I can't help it. When I look at all the creativity on Etsy I just get excited to create! It's great because I do not feel limited to create things that would fit into a boutique for the general public like I have had to do before.


This is an original design so I am thinking of also selling the pattern. More fun fall items to follow!

I'm back from my world wind trip to DC. The wedding was beautiful. My friend Lisa-Beth is a violinist for the Philadelphia orchestra so the music was amazing. I had fun running around with my other high school friend Janna as we got last minute wedding errands done.

I got to sneak in a trip to the National Cathedral which may seem like just another tourist spot for some but it really has A LOT of personal history for me. My mother went to NCS (girl's school), he and my father got married at the Cathedral and her funeral was there as well. That all didn't really hit me until I walked inside. I hadn't been back since her funeral. Also when I was growing up she worked at St. Alban's (boys school on the grounds) and I worked at Beauvoir (elem school also on the grounds) during the summer so I spent a lot of time hanging out there. That is probably where my love for old churches, all things carved and wrought iron came from. Here are some of my favorite shots I took!
