I got to
chaperone one of Timmy's class field trips on Friday. This one was to the Santa Clara Country wetlands. The kids LOVED bird watching and there were a lot to see! Timmy's teacher, Mrs. Dean has had some great field trips this year. Mostly ones that involve nature so I am always up to
chaperone those!

On Saturday I took the boys to the
Seymour Marine Lab in Santa Cruz. Timmy's class had won 2
nd place in a group art contest. Again it was another project Timmy's teacher did with the kids - give this teacher an award or something!! I had never been there before and I would highly recommend it. Especially if you have small kids. Sometimes the
Monterey Bay Aquarium can be overwhelming especially when it is crowded and you are trying not to lose your kids. The lab has great learning centers - we looked at marine snow for a good 5 minutes! It is also cheaper and smaller so it can easily be done before little ones have melt downs!

Tyler grabbed the camera and this was one of his shots! I love the perspective of it!

Someone get this kid a haircut!

And this kid!

Timmy proudly
in front of the art panel he and his classmates did. When I asked him what the favorite part of the day was - he said it was when they announced his name and he got to go up in front of the crowd at the reception!
