Apple picking! I have been wanting to go apple picking for years! So we finally took the boys and went last Sunday to Gizdich ranch in Watsonsille. You can pick all kids of fruit at this farm, but you can only pick apples in September. It was fun to see all the little apple trees and figure out which apple was which (there are A LOT of different types). So when we got home I made my first homemade apple pie (my Mormon friends would be so proud!). It was delicious and so easy (okay not entirely homemade - the crust was pre made). Before the pie, Matt and I cooked Indian curry from a recipe I got from Take home chef (a tv show). It took a long time to prepare and cook but I must say it was YUMMY! So now as I type this I realize that Matt will be home soon and I have no idea what to make for dinner!!

I've been wanting to try an apple pie also, what crust did you use? So much fun picking fruit from the tree, love it.
