It was a busy San Francisco weekend! Saturday was our friend's Robs birthday (flip house Rob as well). So he wanted to eat dinner at Scoma's on Fisherman's wharf. Matt and I decided to get their in the afternoon so we could do some touristy things with the boys. We took them to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. It was fun. Tyler was a little freaked but the rest of us liked it. Then we met up with the rest of the party and ate the yummiest seafood. I was trying to take spontaneous pictures during the meal and I LOVE the one of all the kids (and Rob) blowing out the candles and then Timmy and Robs' nephew Christian were cracking each other up with 10 year old jokes. It was so funny to hear them laugh at the silliest things. Oh and check out my purse! It's the Amy Butler swing bag that the lady at work made for me. I LOVE it!
Then on Sunday, I drove back to the city to meet one of my high school friends there, LisaBeth. She is a brilliant violinist for the Philadelphia Orchestra (hey Stephanie - you out there :-) ???). So she was playing in the city and we met up for lunch and walked around the Ferry Building which has all these fancy food stores and great restaurants. So it was fun playing in the city this weekend and I was a brave driver!!! I had to drive California St. which has the steepest hills I think in SF!

I am a Typist.

Kent, did you see my swing bag? I LOVE IT... did she make a closure... or do you find it's deep enough stuff stays put? I have 2 more to make (fabric sale).
Hey Kent - I was looking in my yahoo e-mail archive and found your link. It's been a long time hasn't it? Great page! Sounds like everyone is doing well - that's good to hear! God bless your career change. I'm sure you'll do great whatever you decide to tackle.
I just love your purse, the pattern is so cool. I can't wait to be able to come back to SF so I can see more of the city.
Hi aunt kent! Awesome pictures, looks like you had a lot of fun! I'm glad my dad used to live in San Francisco...we got to go up there often and it was a blast :D. Anyway i like these pictures so much i felt like giving my opinion on them :P. The first one looks like something you'd see on a greeting card or commercial, the expressions and quality of the picture are awesome :D The second one scared me until i read your post below; since you're wearing a brown shirt and the bag was sticking out both ways {although i only saw the front way...}, i thought it was a maternity shirt!! It hasnt been that long has it? I didnt think so :D Timmy is adorable when he laughs, I'm glad he had that friend there {hopefully him and tyler havent already performed their play...i'm looking forward to it and am pretty sure my mom knows when it is :P}. The last picture, for some reason, is my absolute favorite :]. Its nice to see the contrast between creepy advertisements, for weird unbelievable things, and my perfectly photogenic cousins! {Hey, timmy is actually...smiling in this one! :D} I like their stances too. You can tell they had a lot of fun in there, or are about to :]
Argh! I have a tendancy of making things long :/ Also i was considering taking anything recognizable out and making this anonymous so i'd be slightly less embarassed :D But reading over it, its not too bad :] Hope you were looking forward to reading an essay this morning//afternoon//night :P
Much Love,
Hannah!
