We are back! We just got back last night from our 12 day road trip. 6,635 miles traveled and 14 states visted.

Whew that is a lot of states! It was a great way to see the country and definitely a good way to spend time together as a family. Not a great time to travel though. It seemed every where we went we ran into a heat wave. Charleston was 115 degrees with the heat index (which means it is very hot and humid and you can barely stand it out side). Probably the place we liked best was Destin, Florida. The beaches were so white and the water so clear. We had a great time playing in the ocean. I wish we could have stayed there longer but we had to keep going. It was also great to see friends and family and I wish I would have taken pictures of them!

What awesome pictures! I still cant believe how good a photographer you are :] I love timmy's stance in the 1st and 5th pictures...and the last one of tyler! SO cute!! {and how brave! i wouldnt put a bird on my arm if someone paid me for it...}
also i like how they provided the beach chairs on that beach...was it part of the hotel?? :P
Also i am jealous of all the states you went to!!! We only visited four on our trip, although we went to a lot of towns, they werent ones i especially liked :P But i loved it when we went back east, we havent been since luke was a baby!!! I couldn't imagine driving all the way over there though...wow!...
How'd the travel journals go for the boys? Did tyler fill his with drawings?? I hope they'll show me the next time i go over there :]
